A 6-Week Journey to navigate chronic insomnia
This workshop is led by Ray, a trained sleep clinician who specializes in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT‑I). This method is the top treatment for chronic insomnia because it focuses on the underlying causes, not just the symptoms. Over the next six weeks, participants will explore the thoughts and habits that keep them awake. While it requires some effort, especially in tracking sleep, many people see real improvements in their sleep and how they feel during the day.
Being in a group allows everyone to support each other and share ideas, making this approach just as effective as individual therapy. Together, this journey aims to lead to better sleep and a better quality of life.

Self-compassion is treating yourself with kindness, understanding, and patience, especially during difficult moments or when you make mistakes. It involves being gentle with yourself, recognizing that struggle is a universal experience, and being mindful of your emotions without judgment. We need self-compassion because it reduces self-criticism, boosts emotional resilience, and improves mental health by fostering a healthier, more forgiving mindset. It also strengthens relationships and encourages growth by allowing us to face challenges with care and a sense of curiosity rather than shame or fear of failure.
